PB is back!

It has been what, almost a week now since American Idol (AI) season 8 ended?
But guess what! I'm still not over it. For the past few days, I have been watching ANY videos associated with AI, be it music videos, behind the scenes footages, performances, whatever.
You name it, I've watched it.

Sometimes I find myself somewhat pathetic. Come on man, my past few entries have been nothing but my indulgence in AI!
And then, there are those "happening" people who blog about meeting new people, having fun and all those stuff.

Dammit, my life is quite boring as compared to others.
The thing is, I'm ok with it being that way. Which might make me sound even more pathetic.
Bleurgh.

Someone I had a crush on a long time ago used to ridicule me because I watched too much tv, specifically AI. Which at that time makes me so embarrassed, mind you. Afterall that was like what, our first ever conversation?

Anyways, my point is, is watching too much tv THAT uncool? Does watching too much tv makes me a boring person with no life?

Well, if it is so, then hell, I am a really uncool, boring person. My day (when I don't work) starts with watching tv, and yes, it ends with me watching tv as well.
And sometimes, I even watch repeat episodes. I know some people can't understand that part. What can I say man - I have too much time on my hands?
(Which is true, by the way)

Give me a few more days (maybe weeks, I'm not sure) and I think I will be out of the AI phenomenon.

Oh by the way, PB is back!
Nope, not peanut butter (I have no idea how you came up with that!)
I was talking about Prison *coughWentworthMillercough* Break. And it's Season Finale!
That's not all, it's 3 times a week! Crazy shit right?!

Wait! 3 times a week?!
Dammit, I'm never going to have a life.

P.S.: Anybody interested in watching videos associated with AI, feel free to ask me :)

Seacrest out!

Come to think of it, Adam Lambert never stood a chance in winning. Even if Danny Gokey had gotten through to the finals with him, Danny would still have won. And Danny would have sung the winning song "No Boundaries" way WAY better than those two.

I hope Danny and Matt Giraud make a record. I will definitely be a fan.

And that's it! Damn, this season was by the far, the best season ever. The talent, the diversity and the originality are just amazing. I doubt the next season can top this.

So, till the next season. Seacrest out!

American Idol is over but guess what's back - Prison Break season 4. Yay yay yay!

I kissed a boy and I liked it

I still haven't watched American Idol but I already know the winner thanks to the in-your-face link on yahoo.com.

Kris Allen won.
Woohoo! *doing victory dance*

I think I may blog more later on the show when I've watched it tonight. Till then!

So anyways, chatted with Yi Hua on msn and yeah that boy is quite disappointed that his favourite didn't win. Afterall, he got to see it first hand.

I don't think Adam Lambert needs to win to do extremely well in the industry. Alot of people want to work with him, and he has a great number of fans (not as many as Kris' though, haha!).

One person whom I can think of who would love to work with Adam is probably Katy Perry. She made it quite obvious that she was rooting for Adam during that time that she did a guest performance on the show.

So imagine a Katy-Adam collaboration. Hot right?
And imagine Adam singing this:
"I kissed a boy and I liked it; The taste of his cherry chapstick".

Wow. This should totally be Adam's first single.

Feels like I'm in a race but I've already won first place

I watched the American Idol results show FOUR times yesterday.
And the night before, I watched the performance show three times.
I must either be a real die-hard fan or just plain crazy.

So results is considered as a shock to some since Gokey got out and Allen is through to the finals.

I agree with Mira, the producers should have created more suspense by announcing Lambert first and then later let people guess whether it's Gokey or Allen. Everybody will think it's Gokey coz it's like so duh, but tada! Allen got through instead. Bam!

After watching the results show for the fourth time yesterday, I realised that next week's finale might be slightly more exciting if Gokey had gotten through instead. Atleast that way, we will be fine if the American Idol title goes either way coz both are equally fabulous.

But it's Allen up against Lambert. According to Simon Cowell, it's going to be "ding-dong" next week. I think maybe what he meant was the title can go either way?

I want Allen to win just so I can see Lambert's fans crying.
And if Lambert wins, yeah whatever like we couldn't have guessed that.

Kris Allen - Heartless (Live)

I want Kris Allen to win. Why?
First, he's the underdog.
Second, he's really talented.
Third, I can't stand watching or listening to Adam anymore.

Just enjoy the show

"If he were an apple, he will be delicious."
I KNOW RIGHT!

Jaden Smith on Ellen DeGeneres Show 12/05/08 (5 of 5)

For a really young guy, he's talented, funny and confident.
Slightly cocky but that's a family problem anyways.

Battle of the "sexes"

Yesterday's episode of American Idol made me stop breathing for a couple of seconds coz I was super shocked that Kris Allen got into the final 3. It's not that I do not like him, afterall I have 2 of his songs in my playlists, but I thought he did poorer than the rest during the Rock week.

So Allison Iraheta got eliminated, which means the top 3 are all boys! I think somewhat I was supposed to support her, considering the fact she was the last woman standing. But I never liked her anyway, though her voice was very good for a 17 years old girl.

So final 3!
Kris, Danny Gokey and Adam Lambert.
The married man, the widower and the gay.

I actually like Kris among the 3, but he will never win. Why I think he will never win is because he himself doesn't believe that he can win. Which is a total pity.

Danny has an amazing voice, but his performance looks the same all the time. It's like as if he is singing the same song every week! And if he wins, which I don't really mind, Yi Hua cursed him to do even worse than Taylor Hicks, yikes!

So that leaves us with Adam, whom everybody wants to see win. I used to like Adam alot, but that was during the audition time and Hollywood week. But now, not so much. I really can't stand all the screaming dude. Which doesn't matter coz everybody else seems to love it anyways.

So I guess I don't really care who wins, coz they are all good.

So you better treat her right

It's not everyday that you get to read the papers and see familiar faces in it. Yeah, I read the papers yesterday and Ethel and Yi Hua were featured in it (they were in different articles by the way). Ethel is currently one of the Miss Singapore Universe finalists and Yi Hua won a ticket to go see the finals of American Idol live at Los Angeles (lucky bitch!).

I can't stop oh my gawk-ing the whole time I was reading those 2 articles.
Weird.

~

Once again it shall be stressed upon that her affection can only be channelled to one person at a time. She's born like that, so it says. So you can't blame her right?

And right now she is awfully scared. Scared shitless.

And hold on to your words 'cause talk is cheap

Yup, I guess that explains it. My sister and I went to watch it on Saturday. The movie was entertaining, no surprises there. And Zac Efron was hot, still no surprises there.

After watching the movie, I start to believe that among the 6 main leads of the whole High School Musical franchise, only Zac will be the most successful one. Well, maybe that's also because he is probably the one with the most talent among that 6. I mean, what have the others done as compared to his achievement so far?

Heck, back to the movie.

Zac was really convincing in playing a 37 years old man who had a second shot in life. Zac actually has a pretty good comic timing, together with the rest of the cast actually, especially Thomas Lennon "Ned Gold". Thomas' character totally reminded me of Shah Rukh Khan's character in Main Hoon Na. You know the whole not-so-cool dude tries to woo teacher (or in this case principal) thing? Yeah that totally works for me :)

So yeah, Zimah and I want to watch the movie again. Yep, it is the kind of movie you would want to watch again. So either we watch it online one of these days, or Mira is going to treat us to free tickets next Saturday!! Yup. Crazy shit, but true :)

For now, I'm going to be a Zac Efron stalker. Muahahaha.

~

And how did you appear in my dream after all these years?! I got a feeling it's a sign, not because I'm a psychic but coz this has happened before.

~

And she is doing good. Real good :)
