I was quite annoyed when I saw the latest edition of GQ magazine with Zac Efron on the cover page.
Well, he is fine and all that, but all these while, I was waiting for the edition with Justin Timberlake on the cover and I never got to find one!
Pfft.

Oh wells, maybe I might buy this edition. Zac Efron isn't so bad afterall.
And I have this urge to buy any magazine with him being on the cover. I know it's not a good habit, but I just want to!
What's wrong with me?!

I still haven't watch 17 Again. Why?
Coz the sister is busy. Can you believe it?! She's barely 11. How can she be busy!!
But what to do, I still have to wait for her, hmph.

And that Wolverine movie, hmm. I was never a fan of X-Men movie but that movie looks quite promising.
Plus, Hugh Jackman is in it. This is definitely something that I must think about.
Tempting!

Speaking of movies, a hindi movie marathon with Midah tomorrow and she's baking!!!
Awesome, can't wait.
I just hope I can wake up earlier than usual, sigh.

I like to watch things on tv. Maybe coz it's bigger there and sound system is way better.
But how was I supposed to resist when I saw the link on msn.com, stating the 2 contestants who got eliminated from American Idol right?!

So yup, clicked on the link, keeping my fingers crossed that they aren't my favourites and oh was God on my side or what!
Lil Rounds and Anoop (or Abhishek, as my mum remembers him) got the lowest number of votes.
Sweet!

It's top 5 now, with Allison being the only girl.
I don't like her.

Moving on to another reality series show...

Last week's episode of Survivor was just so UGH! Simply because my favourite, Brendan got voted out.
But this week, oh this week's episode is good! Like yummy good :)
Another week of Survivor, another blindside. Yes! That's what I totally love about this game.

She will get real close to you, pour her heart out to you, make you believe as if you are her one and only true friend, yada-yada...
And the next minute, she just goes POOF! Disappears, withdrawing herself from you.

And that's when she goes to another person, and the whole cycle repeats itself.

She has phases, you can't blame her for that right?

Let's see how far we've come

I read the papers yesterday and there was this article on the results of Project Work (PW).

It has been 2 years since I last don my JC uniform but the whole hype on the results of PW is still the same. Students from the "better JCs" are still unhappy about their Bs, Cs and Ds, blaming the teachers for the lack of input. And some students from the "weaker JCs" admitted that their As are due to the "spoon-feeding" by their teachers.

Now doesn't that sound familiar, oh my fellow saints? Coz we've definitely been there, done that.

During my time, my school was definitely one of those that made such a big issue out of it coz we were really upset about our results. Everybody in my class got a C for PW except for 3 people who got Bs. And the class next to ours had worse results. Everybody there got a D except for a few who got Cs. And that wasn't it. We got angrier after comparing results from friends from other JCs, and knowing that alot of them got As.

It has been 2 years since then.
2 years.
But I guess, the whole system hasn't changed one bit.

Free Cone Day was fun!

Tired, but fun.
Busy, but still fun.
Crazy, but it was definitely fun.

One of the many tasks that I had to do was crowd control. Which means I had to make sure that the queue moves fast since queue was all the way to the escalator! Gosh. This task sounds so easy, coz I just had to stand there, occassionally talking to random people who were there for free ice-cream.

But! This task can be quite tricky. You just have no idea how some people come up with the most ridiculous and lamest excuse ever, just to cut the queue. Seriously people, it's just one free scoop of ice-cream. Have more dignity than that.

Free Cone Day also means that most of the scoopies are present. What I like about all of us getting together is that we get to share all the funniest encounters we had before with customers. It's hilarious sometimes hearing the weirdest things that customers come up with.

Crunchy Monkey, Strawberry Shortcake, Coffee Coffee Booze Booze Booze...
Just to name those few :)

I got a brand new attitude and I'm gonna wear it tonight

It's nice to be able to talk about it to someone who understands the situation.
Well, that's because she is in a similar situation.

I think I have finally figured things out.
I'm done.

Swallow that pill that they call pride

Coz I need to pen my thoughts down before my head explodes from all these thinking...

Why have things change when we are still the same people?
Why do we drift apart?
Why do we find it hard to express our feelings?
Why are we able to be just fine without contacting each other for days...and sometimes weeks?

And I realised it all comes down to one thing - Pride.

I am a proud person. I know that. I accept that and I have no problems with that.
You are a proud person. Yes, I know that. I've accepted that and I have no problems with that.

But somehow something is definitely going wrong in between.

I don't know why, but with you things sometimes get harder that usual. And that sucks. Will things change just because we've finally admitted our flaws? I don't know. Coz frankly, knowing us, it's bound to happen again anyways, haha.

I need to press on the accelerator and let go of the clutch slowly.

The POS was down, the ice machine leaked like nobody's business and the waffles sucked! Yes, work on Saturday was quite frustrating.

Funny enough, the 3 of us, irritated and all, managed to laugh our way through the night. We were all in quite a bitchy mood, but trust me, being bitchy was never as fun before :)

Before we parted ways, I was forced to eat Cherry Garcia after losing a game which I came up with -_-
