Clinic All Clear Fan Ad

This ad is in hindi, but who cares!! The guy in it is Shahid Kapoor and oh doesn't he look so cute when he shakes and nods his head which makes his hair go flying crazy, sigh.

I especially love the part where he says "Clinic All Clear" :)

Matt Giraud - Top 10 - Lets Get It On

It's 4:09am and I'm nowhere near sleepy, buh. No good, no good. And this has happened for 2 nights in a row. Maybe it's because of the late night phone chats, which were supposed to make me all tired and sleepy at the end of them, but apparently not I guess.

So here I am, blogging about Matt Giraud - one of the Top 10 finalists in American Idol.

Simon Cowell is right. This guy hasn't been given enough credits as a singer, just because there are other "obvious" front runners like Adam Lambert and Danny Gokey. But please Americans, Matt deserves better than that!

He serenades like no other. And is he smooth or what! Fine, not the best looking guy out there, but he is an awesome singer! And and...he reminds me of Justin Timberlake :)

In other words, he is my current favourite right now. Everybody else is rooting for Adam or Danny, but that's so typical! I love underdogs and don't you just love the part where they will triumph in the end, leaving the so-called "expected winners" all crushed and disappointed? Yeah.

I know 3 celebrities with Neil being their first name.

1) Neil David Haskell
2) Neil Patrick Harris
3) Neil Nitin Mukesh

And they all have 3 names. What's up with that?

Speaking of names, I've picked a name for my future son, regardless of who the father will be.

Whether you know it or not

When friendship turns to love

It seems to work perfectly alright in the movies. Afterall, besides your family, who knows you better than your friends?

But it doesn't seem as "happily ever after" in real life, don't you think? Afterall, things are bound to get awkward during that transition. And what about your other friends? Are they going to be supportive of the relationship?

So much hassle, so much to think about, when actually it's supposed to be only about 2 people.

To rid yourself of vanity and just go with the seasons

Hotel For Dogs is probably not the kind of movie that I usually will watch with my friends. That said, I still think the movie was not bad actually! And frankly, watching this movie was way more entertaining, in any way possible, than watching "Buttons".

Yes, it's a Nickelodeon movie but I'm quite a fan of Emma Roberts and Jake T. Austin afterall. I'll say it's a pretty good movie. Not good enough to top Push of course, but oh wells, it's good for a Nickelodeon movie! Definitely enjoyable to watch :)

I was never an animal lover, particularly a dog lover, but after watching the movie, Zimah and I actually felt like getting a dog ourselves! But yeah, that will never happen.

Speaking of Zimah, I know that I'm not the best sister out there, but I think I'm doing a pretty good job so far :)

To be beheaded and castrated

The beautiful thing about "stripping down" a song is that the audience can be awed by the singers' amazing vocals. And if the singers are soulful enough, then that soulfulness will just pierce right through the hearts of the millions watching.

My favourites for last night performance show on American Idol are Kris Allen, Danny Gokey, Anoop "Dawg" Desai, Megan Joy Corkerey and Matt Giraud.

Adam Lambert just made me laugh at first. Later when I watched back, I cringed. Really couldn't take that performance, ugh.

And as usual, Randy Jackson came up with a new term - Tender Dawg. The vocabulary that that dude has is insane man!

One person that I really want to see eliminated from the show is Paula Abdul. She is so irritating, doesn't provide much of a contructive comment and flirts with Simon all the time! Get her off the show! Boycott Paula Abdul people!

You don't come and go as and when you like.

I never thought that I'd fall in love, love, love, love

Although sometimes it takes a lot of effort, although sometimes you don't feel like doing it, you do it anyways, coz you know it will bring a smile to other person's face. And that itself brings a lot of satisfaction to you.

What else can you ask for?

On News 5 Tonight: 2 Girls Caught On MRT Camera, Doing Wooh

The Adventures of ShiMira
Episode 1: Push

This is a poster of a movie called Push. We went to watch it on Saturday, though it wasn't the initial plan. We wanted to watch other movies, such as Role Models and Up but they weren't out yet. So yeah, we just settled for Push.

We somewhat hesitated in watching at first coz the movie got mostly negative reviews by critics and the only person who told me about it was Gillian. But we still watched it anyways.

And hell! The movie was good! The storyline is clear cut, so easy for me to understand. Also the effects were cool. There wasn't even a moment where we were bored by any scenes. I actually wanted the movie to go on forever!

Towards the end, it got a bit confusing, coz there were so many plots, but yeah we figured it out in the end. This is definitely a great Hollywood movie for me after a long time. Now I have the urge to watch more and more movies. There's Role Models, Up and 12 Rounds :)

Till the next episode of The Adventures of ShiMira *dum dum dum*

I want to be a Pusher. It would be so much fun if I can make you believe in stuff that never happen. To know more about the movie Push and the different types of psychics, you can check this out http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Push_(2009_film)

I am gonna breathe slow, count from one to ten with my eyes closed

Well, some things are just beyond our control. No matter how hard you try to keep things the way they have been, they might still change. And all you can do is watch silently.

Although sometimes it hurts, you believe that things only happen for the best. So you don't argue and just accept everything, though you are secretly unhappy.

All you hope for is for things to get back to normal. And you hold on to that thread of hope, though you know the chances of it happening is very very slim. But you still keep that faith.

Yes, it's an emo entry. I'm not fond of writing such entries, but it gets to a point where I have to channel the depression somewhere, you know.

So yeah, I'm not going to discuss this. I'm just going to give up and run far far away. You haven't been caring anyway.

Atleast I'm not so bumped now coz Mira was there to cheer me up with our ridiculous conversation on msn anyways. It shows how distraction helps alot. No, not in solving the actual problem, but heck it makes me slightly happier.

Just an advice: Don't listen to Breathe Slow when you are in an emo mode. It doesn't help.

Alesha Dixon - Breathe Slow [OFFICIAL VIDEO - BRAND NEW VIDEO]

It's not the best video out there, but the song is addictive. Gosh, come to think of it, this song sounds better when I listen to it without watching the video. Frankly, the video is hideous.

Mit Jaaye - Full Song [Extended Version]

My favourite hindi song at the moment, considering I'm still in this whole Bollywood phase :)

Saturday, March 7, 2009

The earth would be shattered, the sky would be calmed

Pardon me, but I'm still very much in my Bollywood phase at the moment.

So speaking of Bollywood, Midah, Kak Shida and I went to watch Luck By Chance yesterday. One thing that I learnt from the movie is that if you want to make it big in the film industry there, then you have to be either:

1) a star son (eg: Abhishek Bachchan, Ranbir Kapoor)
2) related to someone in the industry (eg: Imran Khan) or,
3) previously from modelling (eg: John Abraham, Arjun Rampal)

If you don't belong in either of these categories, then I'm sorry but you just won't make it! The last time an outsider managed to break into the industry and be a mega superstar, is none other than Mr Shah Rukh Khan himself - and that too, 16 donkey years ago.

And frankly speaking, I quite doubt the fact that something as such will happen again in the near future. Afterall, they have so many star sons around. Why would any producer spent so much money on a nobody?

Moving on, check this link out:

I think it's pretty funny. I've personally watched it alot of times because of 2 reasons - it's funny and I like the hosts :) Gosh I can't wait for the whole thing to come out on tv.

Sometimes, Aditi, you meet someone along the way

This is Imran Khan - my newfound craze. Not only does he look good on screen, this dude actually has some real talent! And the interesting bit about him is that he is different from the conventional Bollywood "must have a hot bod" boys. Which makes him the more appealing to me actually.

And anyone who knows me well, knows that when I like someone, I LIKE someone. So I spent yesterday surfing net to net, to know anything and everything about this guy. And I found out that Imran hosted this year's Filmfare Awards with Ranbir Kapoor, another new star in the industry.

Filmfare Awards has always been entertaining, maybe coz for like 3 years, the hosts were Shah Rukh Khan and Saif Ali Khan, who are totally hilarious together! So yeah, I'm looking forward to watching this year's coz I want to see what these 2 newbies can offer and well, I'm somewhat a fan of those 2. I've already seen photos of the award show and it seems like people are actually laughing at their jokes...or them. Well we'll just have to see about that.

http://www.imran-khan.org/article.php/2009/03/03/imran-wins-his-first-filmfare-award.html

Anyways back to Imran. I had a hindi movie marathon during the weekend. Like finally right? So I watched 2 of Imran's movies. Well, actually they were his only releases so far. Remember, he's new? And yeah, his work is solid good, for a newcomer. I don't think I'm easily impressed, so yeah he's definitely someone to watch out for.
